Where are you located?
The Inn is located at 301 S Academy Street, Cary NC 27511, situated in the heart of historic downtown Cary. We are only minutes from the bustling business and cultural district of Raleigh, our growing capital city. We are across the street from The Cary library, less than 4 miles away from Bond Park and approximately 18 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It will be our pleasure to help you with arrangements, reservations and transportation.
How many rooms does the Inn have?
There are 44 guest rooms in the Inn, and one private cottage located on the Mayton property. Please see our rooms comparison chart for more details.
Do you allow children to stay at The Mayton Inn?
Yes, we welcome children at The Mayton Inn. Suites with a queen-sized pull-out bed will fit your family comfortably.
Do you have rollaways or cribs?
Unfortunately we cannot provide these due to federal and state fire codes. However, children and additional guests can be accommodated on sofa beds in the suites.
Are pets welcome?
We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets. We are happy to recommend quality local boarding options. Our preferred boarder is the Town & Country Animal Care Center. We will of course welcome service dogs.
Are you Handicap Accessible?
The Mayton is fully accessible with a street-level entrance and an elevator to upper floors. We have ADA-approved Standard King rooms, Double Queen, and King Suites specifically designed to accommodate people with disabilities.
Do you allow smoking?
We are a Non-Smoking Inn; smoking is prohibited in the guest rooms, hallways and common areas. Smoking inside the Inn will result in an immediate request to leave and an additional cleaning fee of $250. No refunds will be given for unused portions of the reservation. If you would like to smoke on the back patio, we will be happy to provide you with an ashtray.
What is the dress code for the Verandah restaurant?
We do not enforce a dress code in our restaurant. The atomosphere is relaxed with a touch of elegance. The Verandah is open not just for our guestst but also to the public. Bring some friends or family and enjoy the southern casual cuisine.
Do I need to be a guest to enjoy Tonic Remedies spa?
No you do not. You will need a reservation to be treated by our on-call massage therapists. Please see Tonic Remedies for more information.
